What is Series 7™ memory foam material?
Series 7™ is a Visco-Elastic (AKA memory foam) material developed back in the 70's by NASA to relieve pressure the astronauts experienced during lift-off.
Will Series 7™ memory foam make me hot?
Series 7™ is ventilated with a large open cell structure. It stays cool and comfortable through the night.
Does Gel memory foam sleep cooler than Series 7™?
While Gel will feel cool to the touch, Gel will actually heat up more as it conducts the heat radiating off your body! Gel is also not very breathable. Not only does Series 7™ material feel cool to the touch, it stays cool all night lone and is breathable.
How does Series 7™ material differ from other generic "memory foams"?
Series 7™ material ranges from 5.3 lb to 8 lb density. Higher density makes our product much more durable than others having densities of 4 lb or less. Lower density "memory foams" are not as sensitive as to your body weight and are typically too soft or way too firm to provide any therapeutic support. Series 7™ takes away pressure points where you want it, and provides chiropractic support where you need it.
When my partner moves in bed, will I feel it?
Series 7™ is designed to isolate movement from one sleeper to the other. You will not feel movement from your partner.
I have a platform bed, do I need your foundation?
No. Your platform bed will be fine to use -- you don't need our Tranquil Foundation™ if you have a platform bed.
I have a box spring, do I need your foundation?
If your box spring is not worn out you can use it. Christeli mattresses require a flat firm surface to function properly. If your box spring is sagging we suggest purchasing our Tranquil Foundation™.
Should I use a mattress protector on my Christeli?
We suggest using a mattress protector to keep your mattress free of stains.
Are Christeli mattresses Dust-Mite resistant or Non-Allergenic?
All Christeli mattress resist dust-mites and are designed to be non-allergenic.
Can I use an electric blanket on my Christeli?
Sure. Feel free to use your electric blanket.
Will I be comfortable the first night?
Most Christeli owners are experiencing the amazing benefits from night one. Others may take a few nights for there body to adjust to sleeping in a correct and healthy sleep position.
